When & Where
The Spirited Bostonians
“The Spirited Bostonians” is a group of friends who have collectively dedicated themselves to raising funds for local charities and people in need. For years, the group managed a very successful Holiday Auction in Boston which raised a total of well over a million dollars during a 29 year period. They continue their commitment to helping others.
In late 2010, members of the group put into action a plan for a fundraiser to benefit a legendary Boston charity called the “Globe Santa Fund.” This popular organization provides toys and Christmas presents for the children of needy families in the Greater Boston area. In less than a month, a party was planned for early December of 2010, to be held at the “Rattlesnake Bar and Grill” on Boylston Street. In a short time, word spread to friends and families alike, and although it was a last minute event, a good turn-out gathered at the Rattlesnake on a snowy evening, and managed to raise over $3,000 dollars for Globe Santa. Thus was born . . . “The Spirited Bostonians.”
